Why does Loan Origination software run faster in the cloud?

By installing the client application in the same region as the server processes run faster. When opening a loan in Encompass, there is much less distance between the application and the server, so the data loads faster. You can open attached documents, run reports, and switching between loan files faster in Azure. Applications installed locally are powered by the PC’s processor and memory. Applications in the cloud, are powered by Azure’s processing power and memory, so they run faster.

MWS includes Office 365 ProPlus the Microsoft productivity suite of applications, such as Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook, for both Windows and mobile devices. Office 365 ProPlus isn't a web-based version of Office - instead it's a full version of Office that your users install and run on their devices. You can use the Office applications that come with Office 365 ProPlus with the desktop or online versions of Exchange, SharePoint, or Teams.  MWS is integrated with Azure Active Directory and Office 365, so end users can use the same set of credentials to access their PC, Virtual Desktop and Office Apps.
